At NCEOC, we look forward to spreading the word about employee-ownership far and wide in 2025, especially through special events and workshops. These specially curated programs are designed to educate stakeholders, uplift employee-ownership experts, and inspire attendees through stories of experience.
Our goal is to help more people, businesses, and communities understand employee-ownership models and capitalize on these dynamic strategies for succession planning that provide business owners with great returns, boost company performance, and create opportunities for employee-owners. Here’s a taste of what’s in store!
Employee Ownership Ambassador Program
Go deep into employee ownership with the Employee Ownership Ambassador Program. If you are committed to exploring innovative business succession options that provide a great option for business owners while significantly contributing to job preservation and bolstering community economics, this program is for you.
This program will equip participants with the knowledge and tools to determine if one of the three major forms of employee ownership – Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), worker cooperatives, or Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs) – might be a good fit for their own business or a business within their spheres of influence.
You will also connect with fellow participants and experts who have successfully transitioned businesses into employee-owned enterprises, over the course of this four-week program. With a weekly commitment of just 1.5 to 2 hours, this program offers profound impact without infringing on your busy schedule.

ExitPro101 Live Training Sessions
More than half of small business owners don’t have a plan for what happens after they leave their business. Professional exit planners are a great resource, but many do not know about employee ownership. With that in mind, we are excited to present three workshops through ExitPro101 in the new year to bring information about employee ownership to professional exit planners, while providing them with continuing education credits. Dates and locations are currently being finalized. Stay tuned to our newsletter for finalized information!
