We are pleased to invite employee owned companies, service providers, business owners, economic developers, chamber of commerce leaders, nonprofit leaders, legislators, and community members to our third annual employee ownership celebration!
This year’s event will take place on Thursday, October 24th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Footnote Coffee & Cocktails, 634 W. 4th Street Ste. #120 in Winston-Salem. Tickets are available here.
October is Employee Ownership Month
As October unfolds, NCEOC is thrilled to honor the latest wave of employee-owned companies in North Carolina, as well as those that have been established for years. National Employee Ownership Month serves as a testament to the power and potential of employee ownership.
That’s why October is the ideal time to host this event! At this event, we will celebrate, learn, and connect with the passionate individuals driving the growth of worker-owned enterprises in North Carolina.
Employee ownership is more than just a business model and a way for founders to successfully exit their businesses; it’s a movement that promotes shared prosperity and robust local economies. By attending this event, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with companies that embody this ethos and network with professionals dedicated to making the dream of worker ownership a reality in our vibrant community.
Who Should Attend
Employee owned companies, service providers, business owners, economic developers, chamber of commerce leaders, nonprofit leaders, legislators, and community members are all welcome. We will be celebrating recently converted ESOPs and worker cooperatives, as well as companies who have been employee owned for many years. Salem Fabrication Technologies Group will be honored as Employee Owned Company of the Year, and we will also celebrate our recently graduated cohorts of Employee Ownership Ambassadors. We also hope to have some special announcements!
